PetroTrace Services was founded in 2010 in the city of Moscow. The major domain of company's operations is processing and comprehensive interpretation of on-shore and off-shore seismic data of CDP 2D and CDP 3D modifications, as well as providing accompanying services.    

Our specialists professionally use wide range of modern software from various vendors, which helps us to be universal service provider and opt for a way of project execution that is optimal for specific client. For the processing jobs we can use Omega (Schlumberger), Geovation (CGG), Focus/GeoDepth (Paradigm) as well as software for specific tasks from other developers. Data interpretation can be executed with Decision Space (Landmark), Petrel (Schlumberger), Hampson-Russell (CGG), utilizing various supplementary softwares for solving auxiliary tasks.   

                     

Besides that, from the very beginning company put a stress on self-developed software, allowing to execute either specialized algorythms of data processing/interpretation (velocity modeling etc), or digitize the operational process.

Also, company is in active collaboration with leading russian and international geopysical businesses and institutes, integrating their services and technologies into its projects. As a matter of fact, we engage LLC NPF GeoTEC (Russia) for building borehole hydrodynamic models, AO "MIMGO" (Russia) for the projects, involving basin modeling etc.

Company staff includes experienced geologists, geophysicists and high qualified software developers, whose collaboration results in most effective ways to solving geological taks.

PetroTrace Services has successful experience of executing projects for russian oil companies, categorized as "blue fishes" (Gazrpom, Lukoil, Rosneft), and also for international companies in various regions of the world. Geography of operations extends from Russia to nearby Kazakhstan, Usbekistan, as well as to far away Africa, Iran, Caspian and Northern seas.
